Profile of Wisdomian student

A Wisdomian student in a diligent & studious member of the student community of this School.

  • He/She lives and promotes eco-friendly life style which does not destroy the nature rather promotes.
  • He/She is punctual, ready to accept corrections and take guidance from elders and teachers.

  • Since it is English Medium School all students should speak only English within the campus except language classes.
  • Students should maintain silence during changeovers, lunch & recess breaks.
  • Students should keep neat & Clean environments of entire campus especially in wash rooms for hygienic reason.
  • Students should respect the class teachers, of□ce staff elders those who are within campus.
  • Students should not bring to campus any restricted devices especially mobile phones and gadgets etc.

Discipline can be categorized into following

  • Punctuality (Timeliness in Bus Stop, Back to Class Period after break, submitting Task & Home works etc).
  • Uniform (Neatness in Dress Code, Hair Style, Not wear unwanted things which are not necessary).
  • Behaviour (Manners and Etiquettes, Interact towards Teachers and other students, Not submitting Tasks/Assignments).
  • Silence Manner (Naughty play and or noise which are not associated to study) to manage attentiveness and concentration etc.

  • Bring this book to school everyday. Note in it your homework, your activities and engagements.
  • Come to school at least 10 minutes before commencement.
  • Play and noise are not associated with study. Save it until you are on the playfields.
  • Use your intervals wisely, to drink water, to use the Restrooms and to chat, so that you might concentrate during the class hours.
  • Do not waste drinking water, chalk or paper.
  • Clean and neat clothes cost little. So be clean.
  • If you eat in the school, remember you have to use the same place everyday, so leave it clean. Rubbish bins are provided for litter.
  • Do not splash or sprinkle ink on the floors or furniture. Waste paper and pencil sharpenings must go into the waste paper basket. There is one in every room.
  • Keep your games uniform and school uniform clean and ready so that you can wear them when the need arises.
  • Do not buy any kind of food items from street vendors
  • If you lose or □nd anything, report to teacher at once.
  • Neither a lender nor a borrower be.
  • Amodulated voice is an asset, cultivate it.
  • Inform your class teachers, in case you are not well or injured during school working hours.

  • Parents are advised to attend the Parent Teachers meeting regularly and make use of the opportunity to discuss the development and progress of their wards. They are requested to sign the diary as a proof that they have read them.
  • Parents / Guardian are specially requested to notify the school about any change in their address. Withdrawal of children from classes for mere social functions are discouraged because it breaks the continuity of study which is essential for progress. Parents / Guardians who want to discuss the welfare and progress of their children should meet the Principal. Talking to the teacher in the classes is not permitted.

  • The school would like parents to maintain a close rapport with the Principal and the Teachers.
  • Parents can discuss about their ward's studies and behaviour with the class teacher on school working days Monday & Thursday 11.00 am to 12.30 pm.
  • Parents desirous of speaking to the teachers about the progress of their children are requested to get the due permission from the principal.
  • Parents are requested not to meet student or teacher in the classroom during School hours.
  • All enquiries should be made in the school office during school hours.
  • Parents are requested not to send strangers, (not known to teachers,)to pickup children from the school.
  • The Trustee, the Members of the board and the Principal welcome suggestions from the parents.

    • Check the haircut, nails and punctuality of your ward in the morning.
    • See that your ward wears the regular uniforms. They can wear colour dresses on the Birthdays. The girls should wear black ribbons only. Their hair should not be adorned with flowers or colourful clips.
    • See that your ward carries books/note-books according to the Time Table for the concerned days. No extra books are allowed.
    • See that he / she is prepared for the tests and brings answer book of the test held on the previous day. Also see his/her report card and teacher's remarks in his/her classwork/homework.
    • Encourage your ward to take a balanced interest in studies, Co-Curricular activities and sports.
    • Visit the school every month to remain in touch with Principal / Teachers even if there is no problem with your child.
    • See that your ward does not wear gold ornaments in any part of the body.
    • As children come to school from different backgrounds, capacities and interests, it is not advisable to compare one child with another.

    • Students are responsible for making up all works missed.
    • Students who have to leave the campus during the school hours, should bring letters from their parents explaining the reasons and obtain passes from the office which are to be presented to the class teachers at the time of leaving.
    • Any one who has been absent on the previous day will not be admitted to the class without the permission of the class teacher.
    • No leave of absence is granted, except on medical grounds.
    • Repeated absence without leave on an explained absence for more than six consecutive days renders the student liable to have rolls. Readmission may be granted on payment of a fresh admission fee.
    • It is compulsory for the students to complete 80% of their attendance in the year to make them eligible to sit for their final examination.

    • Withdrawal of students during a school year is not advised. However, if a student is to be withdrawn for reasons beyond the control of the Parent/ Guardian, two calendar months notice must be given in writing.
    • In the case of Withdrawal without notice, all the dues for a whole year will be charged.
    • Pupils leaving or joining the school in the middle of the term must pay the fees for the full term.
    • Transfer certificate will be given only on the production of a written application from the Parent/Guardian.
